squealing sound and releases helium, causing the voice of any nearby creatures to ascend in pitch for a duration of 1 minute. During this period, all charisma checks are made with disadvantage.

Cultivation

The Highpitch Topper necessitates dark and cold conditions for growth. A single mushroom can
be planted to propagate more over several weeks. Both the cap of the mushroom and its roots can be harvested for various applications.

Applications

The cap of the mushroom can be brewed into a potion that alters the consumer’s voice. Incorporating multiple mushrooms and the saliva of a specific creature into the brew results in a potion that mimics the voice of that creature. The roots, when dried and chopped, can be added to food or drink. Consumption of these prepared roots changes the consumer’s voice to a high pitch for 1 minute.
